What the Uruguayan state bought in 2019

In 2019, state purchases reached $ 87.4 billion, an increase of 58.9% compared to 2018 in current pesos. Inflation accounted for $ 4.2 billion of this variation. Excluding inflation, real spending increased by 51.3%. A single contract, DISEÑO DE AFICHE (Consejo Directivo Central → TRADINCO S A, for $ 4.6 billion), explains 16.4% of the real change. In comparable categories, which represent 24.3% of the year's total, the change is distributed as $ -1.2 billion due to unit prices and $ 4.2 billion due to purchased quantities, with quantity being the dominant factor.
