In 2026, state purchases amounted to $ 98.8 billion, a 45% decrease compared to 2025 in current pesos. Inflation accounts for $ 5.8 billion of this change. After adjusting for inflation, real spending fell by 48.2%. Of the real variation, $ 14.2 billion is due to changes in reporting coverage: 9 agencies reported in 2026 that had not reported in 2025, while 14 stopped reporting. A single contract, SERVICIO DE CHOFER (Administración Nacional de Usinas y Trasmisiones Eléctricas → ESTILO S R L, for $ 12.3 billion), represents 14.2% of the real variation. In comparable categories, which make up 20.2% of the year's total, the change is split between $ -6.2 billion from unit prices and $ -6.1 billion from quantities purchased, with price being the more significant factor. It is important to note that 2026 is still ongoing, so the current total is not comparable to a full year.
