In 2024, state procurement reached $ 215.3 billion, an increase of 15.4% compared to 2023 in current pesos. Inflation accounted for $ 9 billion of this change; excluding it, real spending rose by 10.5%. A single contract, Rubros Globales (I, II, III) 2024 (Administración de las Obras Sanitarias del Estado → SACEEM, for $ 33.5 billion), is equivalent to 1.7 times the real variation for the entire year.
